Metrohm AG from Herisau, Switzerland has acquired B&W Tek's Spectroscopy Solution Business based in Newark.

“We are pleased to strengthen our product portfolio in spectroscopy by the acquisition of B&W Tek’s R&D, production and sales organizations,” said Dr. Christoph Fässler, CEO and president of Metrohm AG.

The field of spectroscopy looks at how matter and electromagnetic radiation interact. B&W Tek is a worldwide leader in the industry.
