Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant announced on May 20 that it has signed a lease for their 11th Pennsylvania location on South Eagle Road in Newtown.
The opening is part of the Delaware-headquartered company's larger initiative to operate "20 restaurants by 2020." Iron Hill Newtown is part of the Village at Newtown Shopping Center in Bucks County and is anticipated to open in spring of 2020.
The 7,500-square-foot space is owned by Brixmor Property Group, which has invested $35 million to renovate the shopping center along West Road.
The location will feature Iron Hill's signature on-site brewing facility as well as seating for approximately 350 including a bar area, dining room, and outdoor dining space.
"Iron Hill is thrilled to open our 11th Pennsylvania destination in Newtown in 2020," said Kevin Finn, co-founder of Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant. "As we explored communities throughout Pennsylvania, we quickly realized that Newtown was a perfect fit for us and we are excited to be a part of the growth in this outstanding community."
Colorado-based Bray Architecture, which has worked with Iron Hill on other locations, will design the brewery and restaurant.
"We are thrilled to welcome the Iron Hill team to the Newtown community", said Laura Parke-Carson, Vice President of Leasing for Brixmor Property Group. "With their already established presence in Pennsylvania, we're excited to bring their craft kitchen and scratch brewery concept to the Village at Newtown Shopping Center and we know they'll be a successful partner with Brixmor."
