Kid Shelleen's Charcoal House & Saloon is opening a second location in the Branmar Shopping Center in the Brandywine Hundred neighborhood of North Wilmington.
The new restaurant will have the same decor and menu, including award-winning hamburgers and Saturday/Sunday brunch, as the popular Trolley Square location.
“We are excited to be a part of the soon-to-be-renovated Branmar Shopping Center," said Xavier Teixido, owner of Harry's Hospitality Group, which also runs Harry's Savoy Ballroom. "We consider the intersection of Marsh and Silverside Roads to be the community center of Brandywine Hundred. This location meets all our criteria for a successful, neighborhood-oriented restaurant.”
Corporate Executive Chef Michael Heaps will oversee all culinary aspects of the new location, which HHG expects to open sometime in early 2020.
