Richards, Layton & Finger announced that attorney Matthew W. Murphy
has been elected as a director of the firm.

Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore recently welcomed Nisha Lodhavia

to its Board of Directors.

Lodhavia, a professor of mathematics, comes to Easterseals with vast experience in community service. She has served on the boards of Meals on Wheels Delaware, CenDel Foundation, and St. Anne’s Episcopal School in Middletown, Delaware. She spent many years as a Court Appointed Special Advocate with Family Court in Kent County, Delaware. Lodhavia currently serves as a Trustee at the University of Delaware and is a board member of the Board of Professional Responsibilities and a long-standing board member of the Hope Medical and Dental Clinic. Lodhavia is married and has two daughters.
“It is a great honor and privilege to serve on the Board of Easterseals Delaware and Maryland Eastern Shore,” Lodhavia said. “I am grateful to be given the opportunity to be a voice for people with disabilities and advocate for their families.”

Moore is currently providing leadership to the W.L. Gore & Associates Global Enterprise Services Team. Prior to joining Gore, Moore was employed by Hercules Incorporated for 17 years where he had various assignments. He earned a Bachelor’s degree with distinction in Chemical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in Marketing from Robert Morris University. He and his wife have three children. Moore is active in the community serving on the Board of Directors for Special Olympics Delaware and as a member of the Christiana Care Health System Governance Committee.
“I am grateful for this opportunity to serve on Easterseals’ board. I am excited to learn about how I can enhance Easterseals’ impact and help make change,” Moore said. “When we create awareness that includes respect and inclusion, we make our community better, not just for people with disabilities, but for the community as a whole. I am looking forward to being a part of that mission.”

Squires has over fifteen years of experience in the health care and legal fields. She currently serves as Senior Counsel at Christiana Care Health System. Prior to that position, Squires served as an attorney at Duke University Health System and the North Carolina State Health Plan. She mentors aspiring lawyers and teens, volunteers on the Program Committee for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware, and serves as a board member for YWCA Delaware. She holds an undergraduate degree from North Carolina A&T State University and a law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.
“I am both humbled and honored to have the opportunity to support the mission of Easterseals as a board member,” Squires said. “I look forward to joining this impressive group of leaders that share my passion for community service and inclusion.”

SoDel Concepts announced the promotion of Amber Willis
to general manager of Bluecoast Seafood Grill + Raw Bar in Rehoboth Beach. She was previously the assistant manager. Willis replaces Jack Temple, who recently became a director of operations with SoDel.
Raised in Pittsburgh, Willis received a bachelor’s degree in geography and environmental studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After moving to Rehoboth Beach in 2001, she worked in area restaurants. In 2014, she joined SoDel Concepts and became a bar manager before moving to Bluecoast.
“I have worked at many restaurants throughout my career, and I love how much SoDel Concepts appreciates their employees,” Willis said. “As a board member for the YMCA, I also respect SoDel’s commitment to the local community.” Willis also has been involved in the art docent program at Rehoboth Beach Elementary School. She credits her success to her parents, who stressed the importance of responsibility and a good strong work ethic.
Willis lives in Rehoboth Beach with her three daughters and their dog, Chip.

Flood joined Cover & Rossiter in January as Assistant Controller. Flood graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Management. Prior to joining the firm, she spent 17 years working as Controller / Director of Finance and Operations for an insurance agency in Haddonfield, NJ.
Schroeder joined in February as a staff accountant in the captive audit department. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Wilmington University and is currently pursuing his MBA there. He is scheduled to graduate in December 2021. Prior to joining Cover & Rossiter, he worked as a junior accountant for a tree nursery and landscaping business and as an instructional tutor for Delaware Technical Community College for five years. Schroeder is multi-lingual and grew up in Germany.
Wilhelm worked as an intern in Cover & Rossiter’s audit department earlier this year. After graduating in May from Goldey Beacom College with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, he joined the firm as an audit staff accountant. Wilhelm is currently continuing his education at Goldey Beacom, pursuing an MBA in Finance. He previously participated in an internship in the tax department at Horty & Horty, PA. He is a member of the Accounting and Finance Club at Goldey Beacom.
