New Castle County will host a series of events in partnership with local nonprofits to celebrate Earth Month.
"Every resident can contribute to a cleaner environment," County Executive Matt Meyer said. "We encourage you to join that effort by participating in one of the many park and watershed cleanup events in our area, including in your own neighborhood park, and invite you to come along for guided trail rides and walks through some of our 247 beautiful County Parks."
The series kicked off with a tree planting at Rockwood Park carried out by second graders at Mount Pleasant Elementary
