, a leading privately owned, independent port operator and a subsidiary of Crescent Enterprises
. Former CEO Peter Richards will continue to serve on Gulftainer’s Board of Directors and lead the expansion of the company’s footprint in the United States as CEO of GT USA.
In his new role as CEO of Gulftainer, Charles is tasked with oversight of the strategic growth of the company, which currently operates and manages ports and logistics businesses in its home base in the UAE, and internationally across Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and the USA.
On assuming his role as Gulftainer’s new CEO, Charles Menkhorst commented: “Gulftainer is entering an exciting phase of development. With over 25 years of experience in the international maritime industry, Charles Menkhorst has served in several key roles for international conglomerates DHL Worldwide Express and APM Terminals. His previous role was Group CEO at Luxemburg-based ports infrastructure group Euroports.

This award is given “based upon Health Department standards for excellence in operation and maintenance” according to the Chesapeake Section of the AWWA. In his current position, Price oversees 21 treatment plants that provide water to over 35,000 customers.

, DBF’s newest CAD designer joins the civil engineering department. With an associate degree from Delaware Technical Community College in applied science and civil engineering technology, Kessler has in-depth knowledge and experience working with AutoCAD, Civil-3D and Hydro-CAD, and is actively pursuing his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is currently working on several subdivisions in Sussex County, which include Marsh Island, Burton’s Pond and Millville by the Sea.
Christopher M. Daube, P.E.
is joining the structural engineering department of DBF.
A graduate from the University of Delaware with a master’s degree in civil engineering and a concentration in structural engineering, Daube recently passed the Delaware Professional Engineering Exam and will be serving as a project manager on several structural projects alongside DBF’s two structural engineers on-staff. “Chris has been a valuable addition to the team, and we look forward to seeing his expertise assist the firm in expanding DBF’s capabilities throughout Delaware,” said Senior Structural Engineer Andrew Welch, P.E.
Andrew J. Scrutchfield,
a native of Lewes and a graduate from Stevens Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s in civil engineering and Master of Engineering in ocean engineering is also joining the DBF team. He is currently working on a dune stabilization project for the Port Lewes HOA, Pirates Wharf Phase I design plans for Wicomico County.
