The ACE Mentor Program of America, Inc. (ACE) mentors high school students and inspires them to pursue careers in design and construction. It's now the construction industry's fastest-growing high school mentoring program, reaching over 8,000 students annually. The program recently brought more than 60 students, 10 mentors and teachers from Delaware Vo-Tech to tour Courtyard Marriott at UD. Their project this year is to design a hotel. Bill Sullivan, hotel managing director, said the students were very eager to learn some of the features of the hotel, which is used as part of the hands-on program for a hospitality degree.
