Delaware's new public-private economic development agency launched its official website this week.
The Delaware Prosperity Partnership formed earlier this year to take over economic development efforts from the now-defunct Delaware Office of Economic Development. The partnership will focus largely on marketing the state and attracting large employers and promising startups.
The site includes short write-ups on the state's major industries, such as biosciences, chemical manufacturing, and agribusiness, with lists of the top companies for each.
A section titled "Relocate & Expand" includes very brief summaries about Kent, Sussex and New Castle counties and a cursory overview of the state's geographic, infrastructural and economic advantages.
More information will be added to the site in the coming weeks.
