Delaware Beach Storage Center, a 106,000-square-foot, three-story storage facility, opened last month.
The new facility is located just one mile north of Five Points off of Del. 1 at the Nassau Bridge.
"We are thrilled to be able to provide Sussex County residents and visitors alike with a top-of-the-line storage option," said owner Blair Thompson. "In addition to providing a new, modern storage space for our growing population, our new location will offer residents and visitors a safe and convenient option to store their contents short or long term." said Thompson.
The facility has a total of 680 units including climate-controlled (heated and cooled) spaces as well as traditional drive-up units, ranging in size from 25 to 400 square feet, some of which are individually alarmed and have 24-hour access. Residential, community, commercial and professional storage (including records storage) are offered.
Delaware Beach Storage Center provides a limited number of gated-access RV and boat storage and secure indoor and outdoor vehicle storage.
Caring Hearts Home Care
The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce joined Caring Hearts Home Care in its opening ceremony last month. The company is a personal assistance service agency that assists seniors by providing high-quality, specialized care that will enhance their well-being by allowing them to remain safe and independent at home as well as active in their community.
Caring Hearts Home Care was founded in 2014 by CEO and Director Dawn Sbriglia. The facility provides 24/7 personal care and companion servicesfor all three Delaware counties.
Nail Spa by TR
TR Rowe started the journey of nail technician at Fame Nail Design School in Rockville, Md. Rowe opened her own nail spa in 1991 in Washington, D.C., and was later able to expand her business to neighboring states of Maryland and Virginia.
Rowe said she began to see the lack of diversity in the nail industry at home and realized the opportunity to come back and make a difference. Nail Spa by TR was founded April 2015. "It took us five months to procure the necessary permits and to remodel 1188 Forrest Ave.," she said.
