Speakman, a family-owned plumbing parts company operating in Delaware, is launching a marketing campaign in its home state complete with movie ads.
The Wilmington-based company started in 1869 and helped create the modern shower with the invention of the single handle faucet in 1906.
“I want everyone in Delaware to know about us. Architects and interior designers from around the USA have been specifying Speakman products for decades, and yet folks in our backyard do not seem to know much about us. This week we launch an awareness campaign to change all that,” said CEO Bob Knoll.
The campaign includes a series of 15-second and 30-second commercials that will be shown at cinemas in Delaware. It also includes print, digital, radio advertisements and billboards.
The videos, filmed by a Philadelphia production company, were shot on location in Delaware. They are posted at youtube.com/speakmanco and can also be seen at movie venues.
