The television adaption of Delaware author Cindy Callaghan’s book “Just Add Magic” begins its third season on the Amazon Prime steaming service on Jan. 19.
The book for tweens centers on three friends who discover a dusty old cookbook while cleaning out an attic. They decide to try a few of the mysterious recipes inside, and find their dishes are linked to strange occurrences.
Callaghan, a New Jersey native who had lived in Delaware since 1990, uses a fictionalized Wilmington and fictionalized versions of other local towns in her novels.
The sequel to “Just Add Magic” will be published in August. The former pharmaceutical industry staffer is drafting a new book for Simon & Schuster set at the New Jersey shore.
