Gov. John Carney to expand Open Data Council

Gov. John Carney next week will sign an executive order expanding the Delaware Open Data Council to include members from all executive agencies. The goal of the order will be to expand data sharing between different state agencies.

Members of his cabinet, data advocates and tech entrepreneurs will be in attendance, including: Jeff Bullock, secretary of the Department of State, James Collins, chief information officer of the Department of Technology and Information, Dana Rohrbough, director of the Government Information Center, and David Ginzberg, founder of Open Data Delaware.

The signing will take place at The Mill in Wilmington on Monday, February 12 at 10:00 a.m.
