What’s something interesting about you that isn’t on your resume? “I was one of the founders of the Hispanic/Latino Organization for Leadership and Advancement organization for Bank of America. We started with about 25 members, and now it has grown to more than 850 members.”
Since she joined the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce in 2019 in member relations, Yvonne Deadwyler has worked to support and accelerate business growth in Delaware’s largest county. When she was promoted to president in 2024, she made it her goal to support, promote and advocate for the New Castle County business community, as well as the Delaware business community at-large. The chamber supports economic development and adds value to new and existing plans to contribute to the economic vitality of our county, which has an overall impact on the state. Under her leadership, she has hosted marquee events like the annual economic forecast and the women’s leadership conference, while starting EDx Talks to drive conversation among business leaders.
