The Delaware Business Roundtable is a consortium of the CEOs and business leaders in Delaware, and Bob Perkins is at the center of it all, and crafting its policy agenda to enhance the quality of life for all Delawareans through economic growth. Perkins was one of the leads that helped set the Growth Agenda in 2016, which led to the creation of the Delaware Prosperity Partnership, a public-private partnership that serves as the state’s economic development agency. Earlier this year, the Roundtable produced the Investment Agenda, which called for the government, the business community and the philanthropic community to get on the same page with respect to Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Talent and Workforce, and Long-Term Competitiveness. The hope is that this agenda will set a roadmap to solve many lingering issues in the state with the next administration.
