Marie Holliday had worked at Wilmington accounting firm Cover & Rossiter for close to 20 years before she was elevated to managing director, guiding the company’s strategic direction as growing in new businesses like trusts and growth management consulting. Under her leadership, Holliday worked with her team to successfully merge with the Bonadio Group, the largest independent provider of professional services in upstate New York, on Dec. 1. The merger provides the former Cover & Rossiter firm with even more resources and depth of knowledge, Holliday said of the transaction, and said she looks forward to leveraging the technology, expertise and training opportunities of a large firm, allowing the team to build on Cover & Rossiter’s 85 years of excellence.
Holliday is also a longtime volunteer at the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, having served on multiple committees, including tax and Superstars in Business. In 2023, she was elected the chair of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
