Even though Tatiana Copeland only began her journey in the United States during college, the German native, who is married to du Pont heir Gerret Copeland, has made her mark on Delaware as a philanthropist, business founder and leader. In addition to her ownership of Bouchaine Vineyards in California, Copeland, who speaks six languages, is also the founder and president of several real estate and energy businesses and is involved with many boards and nonprofits, including the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Delaware Art Museum, the Grand Opera House in Wilmington among many others. ChristianaCare in 2022 named its breast center The Tatiana Copeland Breast Center at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute in recognition of Gerret and Tatiana Copeland’s generous fi nancial support.
