Q&A: What is your favorite book? Facing Your Giants by Max Lucado. I’ve read it about four times now, and each time it inspires me in a new way. There’s just something about the way it dives into resilience and courage that resonates deeply with me.
As president and CEO of United Way of Delaware, Michelle Taylor offers strategic direction, operational leadership and fundraising expertise to advance the organization’s mission of maximizing resources for communities in need throughout the First State and nearby Salem County, N.J., while also leading a staff of 40 employees and hundreds of volunteers. Taylor has worked for United Way of Delaware for more than two decades, and also serves as chief steward of the United Way brand in Salem County. In her role, she serves as the nonprofit’s public face and is responsible for fostering partnerships, driving community engagement and ensuring the effective delivery of programs and services.
