Nemours Children’s Health is the premiere children’s hospital and health care system and among the largest in the world with 8,600 associates and 72 care sites that span four states. As chief executive of Delaware Valley Operations, Mark Mumford oversees the entire continuum of care across the system, including primary, specialty, ambulatory surgery, partnerships and community stakeholders. He came to Nemours in August 2020 after a nationwide search for the health care system’s top job in the First State; he was selected due to his multifaceted approach to leadership. His resume also includes executive roles at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where he improved margins more than $250 million per year, and P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and PetSmart.
