What was your first job? “I was a construction laborer and “shop man” for DiSabatino & Raniere Construction Company so I can honestly say I’ve learned the construction business from the bottom up.”
In founding DiSabatino Construction Company in 1981, Larry DiSabatino created one of the most prolific builders in Delaware. He has managed more than $800 million dollars worth of construction since 1976, including major laboratory, research and office facilities, more than 2,700 apartment units, homes, and various commercial facilities. The firm has won contracts for projects for ChristianaCare, Nemours Children’s Health, DuPont, and TD Bank, among others. It notably is building Imani Village and The Flats, two major redevelopment projects for income-eligible housing in Wilmington.
