Kate Harmon, a partner at the Wilmington firm of Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff LLP, was named the president of the Delaware State Bar Association in 2022. She is only the 10th woman to hold the post of one of the most influential bar associations in the country, and leads at a time when debate over bar passage rates and diversification of bar membership has been renewed. Harmon has also been a leader in both the DSBA’s and Benesch’s diversity, equity and inclusion programs, while running a personal corporate litigation practice.
