As the leader of credit giant Capital One for the Delaware market, Joe Westcott leans on his more than 20 years of experience in the state’s banking industry. With nearly 2,000 workers in the state, Westcott manages the bank’s operations and represents its investments in the community, which include working with Delaware State University and nonprofits helping small business entrepreneurship. He is about to embark on one of his biggest challenges to date, if regulators sign off on Capital One’s acquisition of Discover Bank: merging the Delaware operations under one umbrella.
