As a lifelong Delawarean, Jerry DuPhily started to party in Wilmington as a University of Delaware student. That served as a starting point when he eventually launched a career in entertainment magazines like Out & About Magazine, launching parties and special events as his own under Event Allies. Among the many events DuPhily has created to shape the state’s nightlife include the Wilmington Grand Prix, City Restaurant Week, Separation Day, Delaware Beer Wine & Spirits Festival, Newark Food & Brew Festival, City Loop Series, and Wilmington Beer Week.
