As a subsidiary of Exelon Corporation, Delmarva Power is a century-old utility service that serves 532,000 electric customers in Delaware and Maryland, as well as 138,000 natural gas customers in northern Delaware. Doug Mokoid was tapped to be region president in 2021, with 14 years of work within the Exelon companies. Previous roles include Director of Operation for Atlantic City Electric where he led a team of 325 employees for construction and maintenance as well as business planning. Other notable roles include 10 years with Philadelphia-based PECO, where he ran the Philadelphia Region Construction and Maintenance organization and three years with Public Service Electric and Gas as a lead engineer.
