Bryon Short has had a long career in the public and private sector, serving in Tom Carper’s congressional office and later in the Department of Transportation before leaving to run his own small construction company. In 2007, he was elected to Delaware House of Representatives and served for a decade before retiring from Legislative Hall. That experience prepared him to now lead the Delaware Contractors Association, which aims to expand the regional construction economy, provide training and education to build the workforce of tomorrow, and create business development opportunities for its members.
