It’s rare for a woman to be the owner and the president of an independent insurance brokerage firm, but Kate Lyons became that woman after the sudden passing of her husband David in 2018. Since then, Lyons kept up her husband’s legacy for the eventual transition of the business to her sons Dave and Tim.
