TD Bank announced that Hugh W. Allen has been appointed regional president for its Mid-South Metro, which includes Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Delaware, North Carolina and South Carolina. In this role, he will provide strategic direction and sales leadership to TD Bank’s Mid-South consumer, small business, commercial and specialty banking operations and lending services. He has more than 30 years of experience in banking and joined TD Bank in 2014.


Chip Rossi

Bank of America Delaware President Chip Rossi has joined the Board of Directors for the Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County. Formerly the affiliate’s Development Committee chair, Rossi is taking on a new role as HFHNCC board president. Rossi’s tenure took effect July 1, succeeding that of former Board President Maureen McDonald, of J.P. Morgan Chase.


Prelude Therapeutics Inc. announced the appointment of Martin Babler to its Board of Directors. Babler brings to Prelude over 25 years of pharmaceutical and biotech experience, most recently serving as President and CEO of Principia Biopharma until its acquisition by Sanofi S.A. in October 2020. Babler will serve as a member of the Audit Committee of the board.


Heather Baldini

The Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) welcomed Heather K. Baldini as a new Commissioner. A certified paralegal, Commissioner Baldini is the office manager at the Law Office of Paul J. Baldini, P.A. located in Wildwood, New Jersey. Succeeding James Bennett, Commissioner Baldini will serve a term that extends to July 1, 2025. The Commission is composed of twelve commissioners – six each from Delaware and New Jersey – who are appointed by their respective Governor.


Southern Delaware Tourism’s board of directors installed co-chairperson Bonnie Hall as chairperson for a two year term.  Hall is a member of the Committee on Native American Ministry within the Peninsula-Delaware Conference and a member of the University of Delaware’s Sea Grant Advisory Board. She also chairs the Scholarship and Commemoration Committee for the Nanticoke Indian Association Inc. Serving as co-chairperson is Matt Parker, president of Rosemont Wealth Management and president of the Western Sussex Chamber of Commerce.


The Delaware Nature Society (DNS) has appointed Eric Brinsfield as the president of its Board of Directors and Dan Barbato as vice president. Additionally, Brad du Pont, Rick Stuckey, and Andy Wetherill have joined the DNS Board. Brinsfield is the owner of Calvert Retail Inc. and has been on the DNS Board of Directors since 2015. Barbato is the vice president and officer director of Pennoni Associates, a native of Delaware and a graduate of the University of Delaware.


CIRC welcomes seven directors to serve a new two-year term on their board of directors. Jay White will serve as the new president of the board, while Cindy Fleming will now serve as vice president. Bart Mackey and Barry Snyder will continue as treasurer and secretary, respectively. Benjamin Berger, Lorraine Sheldon, Ryan Kennedy and Daniel Wham were re-elected to the board. Additionally, Neil Kilian joined the board as a newly elected director.

Peter Conaty Jr., Beth Gansen Knight, and W. Donald Sparks II are recognized for excellence in Private Wealth Law, and Chad M. Shandler is named in Private Wealth Disputes.

Dr. Victorino DeJesus

Dr. Victorino DeJesus has joined Beebe Medical Group and will see patients at Beebe Primary Care – Georgetown.

Dr. DeJesus is board certified in internal medicine. Prior to joining Beebe Healthcare, Dr. DeJesus worked as a primary care physician with Tidal Health and in private practice in southern Sussex County for more than 10 years.

“My philosophy is patient-first and promise to always find the time to listen to them,” said Dr. DeJesus. “That’s why I joined Beebe because it stands for the same ideals that I envision for Sussex county – to be one of the healthiest in the nation.”


Erik Fay

EDiS Company welcomes Erik Fay to their team as an Operations Manager & Project Executive. Fay brings his more than three decades of experience in commercial design and construction to EDiS, along with his passion for taking projects through the entire continuum from conception through completion.

 In his new role with EDiS Company, Fay will be leading the design and construction teams on some of the most exciting projects in our region, as well as working with the other EDiS leaders on business development efforts that will continue to position the company for success far into the future.

Erin Eliason has been promoted to Director of Operations. To this critical leadership role, she brings both her unique nine-year experience in the financial services industry and a deep commitment to service excellence. Amira Adams joins RiversEdge Advisors as the Director of Retirement Plan Services.  Amira brings over 20+ years of industry experience with an extensive perspective of defined benefit and defined contribution plans. She has a great understanding of what is required to run a successful retirement plan, having worked from the plan sponsor’s side of the table and as an advisor to the plan sponsor.

Gary Diegert brings his talent to RiversEdge as the newest Portfolio Manager. He is responsible for preparing investment recommendations for client portfolios, monitoring portfolio performance, and conducting market and economic research. Michael Lawson has been appointed to the Navient board of directors.

Lawson is currently president and CEO of the Los Angeles Urban League, one of the oldest and most respected civil rights organizations in the United States. In 2013, he was nominated by President Obama to serve as the U.S. ambassador to the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization, a United Nations agency. Before that, Lawson served on the Board of Airport Commissioners for Los Angeles World Airports.
