In her expanded role, Finch will be responsible for all cash management and banking relationships as well as corporate financings, including short-term lines of credit, long-term debt and equity. She also will have primary responsibility for all SEC, tax and other financial filings and reports. She will expand her role in corporate strategic planning, particularly with respect to financial projections and risk analysis.

William Coffey has been announced to be the new Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of WSFS Bank.

Coffey will be responsible for leading enterprise technology strategies and services for the Bank, including infrastructure and architecture, application development and service management.

Coffey has extensive experience in leading transformative technology, operations and business strategies for financial services. Spending more than 19 years at Vanguard, Coffey served in various technology leadership roles supporting institutional full service, equity investments, legal, compliance and financial advisor services. He also previously worked in information technology for Verizon and Shared Medical Systems (now Siemens).

Coffey is an active member of the community, serving as a board member for Amigos de Jesus and Chair of the Amigos de Jesus Marketing and Development Committee as well as previously serving on the board of the National MS Society for eight years. He received his B.S. in management and information systems from Saint Joseph’s University.

Fred Dawson has been named the new President of Bassett, Dawson and Foy, Inc. following the retirement of Joseph M. Bassett in October, 2020.  Joe had served as president since the founding of the company in 1985.

Dawson has over 38 years of wealth management experience and is one of the founding principal partners of Bassett, Dawson and Foy.

Brad Foy has been named Executive Vice President, and Brian Dawson has been named Branch Manager in addition to his current role as Vice President of Operations; each have over 20 years of wealth management experience with Bassett, Dawson and Foy. The company is celebrating thirty-five years of serving high-net worth clients with their financial planning, retirement, investment and life insurance needs.

C.J. Bell has been appointed as an Executive Assistant with the New Castle County government. Bell is an entrepreneur who has a special passion for increasing the millennial presence in the State of Delaware. In 2018, he founded The Connect, a grassroots networking group geared towards supporting millennial retention in the State of Delaware.

Bell recently held the position of Campaign Coordinator for Governor John Carney. Prior to that, Bell worked as Staff Assistant for Delaware’s senior United States Senator, Tom Carper. There he assisted and managed events and programs for the City of Wilmington, as well as created outreach programs for Delaware’s millennial population.

“At New Castle County, we want the best and the brightest working for our government,” County Executive Meyer said in a statement. “C.J. fits that bill. We’re looking forward to putting his skills, especially his entrepreneurial-oriented mind, to work for the people of our community.”

Bell will be involved in special projects and support economic development efforts in the County.

A native of Prince George’s County, Maryland, and raised in Washington, D.C., Bell came to Delaware as a student at UD, where he graduated in 2017 with degrees in Public Policy and Psychology.

Delaware State Treasurer Colleen Davis has been named as Chair of the National Association of State Treasurers’ (NAST) Banking and Cash Management Committee. Previously the Vice Chair, Davis will lead the committee in recommending policy for NAST and developing education content for NAST conferences and webinars.

“I’m honored to have been chosen for this important role,” said Treasurer Davis in a statement. “The committee will discuss important policy issues relating to banking and cash management that will benefit all State Treasurers and more importantly, the citizens they serve. Adrian S. Broderick, based in Wilmington, Broderick maintains a multidisciplinary practice centered around Delaware corporate law. She has significant experience providing counsel on matters of Delaware corporate, limited partnership, limited liability company, and statutory trust law. Broderick received her J.D. from Duke University School of Law.

Jordan Bonner has joined Delaware College Scholars (DCS) as Program Director and Community Liaison. Bonner, who received his master’s degree in psychology and education this spring from University of Cambridge in England, will be responsible for developing community partnerships on behalf of DCS and directing the three-week summer residential portion of the program. Additionally, he will serve as a resource for the freshman and sophomore college students, providing them personalized academic and financial advice throughout their college experience.

A graduate of the KIPP Charter School network and St. Andrew’s School in Middletown, DE, Bonner received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wesleyan University. While there, he served as captain of the men’s basketball team where he scored 1,000 career points and was named the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Defensive Player of the Year his senior year.

Commenting on the hire, DCS executive director Dr. Tony Alleyne said in a statement, “Jordan is the embodiment of what we want for our program. To have his drive, energy, innovation and dedication full-time has already increased the capacity of DCS to a new height which is exciting for all of our scholars – past, current and future.”

Bonner is already drawing on his extensive global network to better position the DCS scholars for success. Bonner has interviewed Eric Hutcherson, Executive Vice President and Chief People and Inclusion Officer at Universal Music Group and former Chief Executive of HR at the NBA on the DCS podcast to discuss how he makes important career and life decisions. Jordan has also pulled together an impressive group of women working in STEM across the world to highlight the barriers they’ve encountered and successes they’ve had working at NASA and in academia.

Bonner is continuing to expand his network. He was just selected to serve as a National College Attainment Network (NCAN) Advocacy Fellow where he will engage in national policy discussion surrounding the Pell Grant and has been selected for the 2021 Leadership Delaware class, where he will be prepared to achieve the highest levels of leadership.

In addition to his role with DCS, Bonner is also serving as the first research associate at Virginia Union University’s Center for the Study of HBUs. Here, his work is focused on fostering a space where creative, like-minded HBCU education scholars can connect and collaborate to rewrite the narrative, producing rigorous, evidence-based research to advocate for higher education issues that impact the nation’s HBCUs and vulnerable, underrepresented populations.

David A. Tam, MD, MBA, FACHE, President & CEO, Beebe Healthcare, has been appointed to the Council of Regents, the legislative body of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

The Council of Regents serves as the vital link between ACHE and members by approving governance and membership regulations as well as promoting ACHE programs, services and activities within their respective areas.

Dr. Tam will take office March 20, 2021, prior to ACHE’s 64th Congress on Healthcare Leadership. As a Regent, he will represent ACHE’s membership in Delaware.

“It is an honor to serve on the Council of Regents and represent the state of Delaware,” Dr. Tam said in a statement. “I’ve been humbled to be welcomed to the First State with open arms amid the COVID-19 pandemic and will do my best to advocate for healthcare in my adopted home state.”

Dr. Tam assumed the role of Beebe Healthcare President & CEO on March 17 as the COVID-19 pandemic reached Delaware. Most recently, Dr. Tam served as the Chief Operating Officer of Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California, part of Providence St Joseph’s Health, one of the largest and most comprehensive not-for-profit health systems in the nation.

He is also a retired Captain in the United States Navy with 24 years of active service. Dr. Tam received his medical doctorate from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. He completed his pediatrics residency at the US Naval Hospital in Oakland, California, and a pediatric neurology fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia.

She completed her residency in internal medicine at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut and then completed an endocrinology fellowship at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York in 2017.

Dr. Khatib is board certified in internal medicine and received her medical degree from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2013. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Albany Medical College in New York and then completed an endocrinology fellowship at Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2018.

Dr. Ravipati is board certified in internal medicine and received his medical degree from Guntur Medical College in 2009. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center and an endocrinology fellowship at Oklahoma University.
