Pauline Galante has earned a featured spot in Expressions 2017, Watermark Retirement Communities’ award-winning calendar celebrating active aging and the arts.
Galante, who lives at Rockland Place in Wilmington, has earned a feature spot in the month of June, for one of her oil paintings, “Winter Escape.” Galante, who has been a resident at Rockland Place since earlier this year, majored in art when she was in school.

Galante’s work was one of just 12 pieces selected from among hundreds of submissions from resident artists at Watermark Retirement Communities in 38 locations nationwide. The 2017 calendar is Watermark Retirement Communities’ 17th edition.
