Five Delaware restaurants have been lauded in the August 31 issue of “Wine Spectator” for their wine lists.

The magazine’s 2015 Restaurant Awards highlight restaurants around the world that offer the best wine selections.

Caffe Gelato in Newark, Sullivan’s Steakhouse in North Wilmington and Eden in Rehoboth Beach received basic awards for excellence for wine lists that offer a well-chosen selection and a thematic match to the menus.

Domaine Hudson in Wilmington and the Green Room at the Hotel DuPont received best awards of excellence for lists that display dept and breadth across several regions. Both restaurants have strong California and French lists, the magazine said.

No Delaware restaurant was give the magazine’s grand award, typically given to restaurants that offer 1,000 or more selections and feature serious breadth and outstanding depth in mature vintages, large-format bottles and superior presentation and wine service.
