Tesla launches program to hire adults with autism in New Castle

Tesla Industries, Inc. this week announced a program to provide job opportunities for adults with autism in New Castle.

In collaboration with The Precisionists, which helps adults with a range of disabilities find employment, the company is offering positions in its Electronic Assembly division.

“With the launch of this pilot program, Tesla Industries is strengthening its commitment to workplace inclusion and to creating career opportunities for an often underutilized talent pool,” said Dave Masilotti, CEO of Tesla Industries. “I am thrilled that Tesla is engaging in such a worthwhile undertaking, and confident it will demonstrate the talent and contribution that people on the autism spectrum can make.”
