State Chamber Leadership Breakfast planned for Feb 2

Joe Hickey, executive director of St. Patrick’s Center in Wilmington, will discuss leadership at the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce Leadership Breakfast on Feb. 2.
St. Patrick’s Center provides emergency food, meals, clothing, transportation, recreation and respite for people in need on the East Side. Under Hickey’s leadership the center established a homeless day shelter that provides showers, laundry, meals and telephone access for 50 homeless people daily.
Hickey will talk about the center and about leadership at the breakfast at 7:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the University & Whist Club. Registration is at 7:30; breakfast is served at 8:05; Hickey will speak at 8:30.
The chamber requests attendees consider donating gently worn coats, hat, scarves and gloves for the center to provide to people in need.
