Board Notebook is a new digital management tool designed for nonprofits to ensure better communications between the board and its stakeholders.
The digital product is the brainchild of a trio of Delaware business leaders who also have served on nonprofit boards and wanted to create a product to make the communication process easier.
Kris Younger, a Delaware start-up entrepreneur, Steve Boyden of Boyden Communications, and Kathy Seeman of Fairways Digital Marketing, started developing the product last year, and launched the website in July.
They describe the vision of BoardNotebook “is to empower nonprofit boards with a simple, secure, online solution that enables superior governance through best practices and collaboration.”
The web-based application offers all the functionality needed to organize a board, with an easy-use-interface modeled after a board book. Board members can instantly access meeting agendas, minutes and archives, as well as latest versions of important documents and materials.
Secure hosting protects the information and gives administrative controls to assign what each member can view.
BoardNotebook is a service of Bungalow Partners LLC.
