Seminar teaches how to bid on federal contracts

NEW CASTLE – The Procurement Technical Assistance Center of Delaware (PTAC) will present “Responding to Federal Requests for Proposals (RFPs)” on Wednesday, February 22.

The program, which is scheduled between  9 a.m. and noon, is designed to help businesses understand the federal bidding process.

Participants will learn how an RFP is structure, how to understand each part and all the requirements and how to identify required resources.

Participants also will be given hands-on exercises to demonstrate how to perform as a proposal manager or key team member to plan, develop, write, review, and deliver a complete, compliant, and compelling bid response to the RFP. The federal government language and acronyms will also be reviewed.

 The cost of the program at the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce, 12 Penns Way, New Castle, is $50.
