The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is holding a free seminar March 15 in New Castle on a program to increase the number of women-owned small businesses that contract with the federal government.

The Woman-Owned Small Business Set-Aside Program, launched in 2011, makes certain contracts exclusive to women-owned small businesses in underrepresented fields. The businesses have to certify with the SBA to be placed in this pool.

The seminar will go over eligibility requirements and the benefits of participating.

The seminar has room for 25 people. Registration is now open. More information is available here.
