Russel E. Kaufman, M.D., of Chestnut Hill, Pa. has been announced as moderator and speaker at Kentmere Healthcare Consulting Corporation’s 2nd Annual Genetic Testing and Utilization Management Conference, June 23-24, 2016 in Philadelphia.
Dr. Kaufman is Chief Medical Officer at Kentmere Healthcare Consulting Corporation and has been an academic leader and practicing physician in biomedicine for 35 years. He was previously President and CEO of The Wistar Institute in Philadelphia for 13 years. Prior to Wistar, he was Chief of Hematology/Oncology, Vice Dean and Vice Chancellor at Duke University, where he also established and was Director of the Molecular Pathology Laboratory.
At the conference, Dr. Kaufman will speak on the topic, “Genetic Testing: Determining Value Amidst a Sea of Marketing to Physicians, Patients and Plans. What is the Cost of the $999 Human Genome Sequence?”
