The next Small Business Caucus meeting will focus on legislation that could raise Delaware’s minimum wage.

The meeting, slated March 17 at 11:30 a.m. in the House Majority Hearing Room on the second floor of Legislative Hall in Dover, will ask for comments and questions regarding Senate Bill 39.

The bill, which would increase the minimum wage by 50 cents each year until 2020, has passed the Senate and it is pending in the House Economic Development Banking Insurance Commerce Committee.

Lunch will be provided, but those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP as soon as possible, because a large crowd is expected.  RSVP by March 14 by emailing Meredith.Seitz@state.de.us or Stephanie.Mantegna@state.de.us
