Quitting? You might regret it.
Almost a quarter of workers who quit their jobs regret it, and 63 percent would consider returning, according to a new survey from Accountemps. But their biggest regret is leaving friends and colleagues.
Other regrets include leaving for the wrong reasons and leaving a great boss or mentor.
Sixty-three percent said they’d consider returning to their old jobs, but 52 percent of them said the pay would have to be better, 15 percent said there would need to be opportunity for growth, and 15 percent said a flexibile schedule might entice them back.
