NEWARK – Delaware businesses doing business with the Department of Defense and other federal agencies may register for a training program that explains how to prepare for Department of Defense contract audits.

The Delaware Procurement Technical Assistance Center will run the program, which costs $100 for one day or $150 for both days, and includes breakfast and lunch.

The session on October 21 will explain what the Defense Contract Audit Agency requires, how labor evaluations are performed and what contractors need to provide to auditors, and how subcontractors must be monitored.

The October 22 session will explain how to prepare an adequate price proposal, a public voucher and Standard Form 1034. It will explain provisional billing rates and incurred cost submissions.

Online pre-registration is required by October 19 at: http://deptac.ecenterdirect.com/events.  For more information, call Dana Reece at (302) 831-0781.
