WILMINGTON– PNC Bank announced Bruce Colbourn as the new market executive for Delaware today. Colbourn succeeds Nick Marsini, who is retiring after a successful 39-year career. The transition is effective March 31.

“Nick is well respected throughout the local business community and has demonstrated strong leadership at PNC during the past four decades,” said Lou Cestello, executive vice president at PNC. “Bruce has extensive experience with PNC in Delaware and has worked closely with Nick to build customer relationships and support the community. Delaware remains an important region for PNC with opportunities for continued growth.”

Marsini joined PNC in 1977 through a predecessor bank, Bank of Delaware, and held several management positions. Before becoming regional president in 2011, he was chief financial officer of Wilmington-based PNC Global Investment Servicing, a former subsidiary. He has been active in several community organizations, including Delaware’s State Chamber of Commerce and the state’s Commission on Early Education and the Economy.

Colbourn joined PNC in 1978 and has successfully managed several divisions within the trust department, cash management services and commercial banking services. He is a recipient of the PNC Performance Award, the company’s highest employee honor. In his leadership role, he also will continue to oversee Corporate & Institutional Banking for Delaware.
