Peter Morrow wins State Chamber’s Marvin S. Gilman Bowl

Peter Morrow, president of the Welfare Foundation and past president of the Longwood Foundation,  is the winner of The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce’s Marvin S. Gilman Bowl.

The award is presented annually to a business person who contributes to the Delaware community. During Morrow’s 16-year tenure at the foundations, the foundations have contributed about $1 billion to charities.

Morrow has helped organizations such as Christiana Care, West End Neighborhood House, Children & Families First, the Food Bank of Delaware, the Community Services Building, Beebe Medical, La Red Health Center, the Riverfront Development Corporation and the Wilmington Housing Partnership.
