Glenn J. Thompson, an attorney with Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been recognized by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) as part of its Pathfinders program. The program provides professional and personal development opportunities for diverse, talented early-career attorneys.
Thompson, based in the firm’s Wilmington office, focuses his practice on corporate matters involving Delaware corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships. He works with buyers and sellers in negotiating acquisitions and divestitures, handles asset and stock sales, equity security offerings, conversions, and the structuring and operation of private equity funds and joint ventures. Thompson has experience representing clients in corporate and commercial matters in the Delaware Court of Chancery. He was listed among The National Black Lawyers’ “Top 40 Under 40” in 2020, is a member of the Delaware Barristers Association, and is a Fellow of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section.
The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity is an organization of more than 350 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners, who have dedicated themselves to the goal of building a more open and diverse legal profession.
Sandra Whalen has joined WSFS Institutional Services, a division of WSFS Financial Corporation, as senior vice president, business development officer. Whalen’s primary focus is to strengthen and grow client relationships and help develop new products.
Reporting to WSFS’ executive vice president and chief wealth officer Arthur J. Bacci, Whalen’s primary focus is to strengthen and grow client relationships, help develop new products and work closely with the Corporate Trust team.
“We are extremely excited to have someone of Sandy’s caliber joining the team,” said Arthur Bacci, WSFS’ chief wealth officer. “Sandy is well known to many on our team, as well as throughout the industry. She has a reputation for her deep industry knowledge and her ability to drive and deliver results and will be a great addition to our Trust Division.”
Whalen brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate trust transaction and relationship management, including working collaboratively across organizations to proactively manage and improve client relationships through her industry expertise and proven market leadership. She joins WSFS from Wells Fargo, where she mostly recently served as Vice President, Business Negotiations Manager.

Dr. Diana Dickson-Witmer, who has decades of experience and expertise in the field of breast surgery and oncology, has joined Beebe Healthcare to lead the Beebe Center for Breast Health.
“Diana is a preeminent breast surgeon and has been a central figure in Delaware cancer care for years,” said Dr. David A. Tam, president & CEO of Beebe Healthcare. “Beebe is committed to bringing experts in their field like Diana to care for those in Sussex County. She joins Beebe as we continue to create the next generation of care.”
In addition to her surgical and patient care experience, Dr. Dickson-Witmer is known for her trailblazing work in the field of breast surgery – setting the standard and developing the programs to train future surgeons in the field.
In 1994, she introduced stereotactic breast core needle biopsy to Delaware, and trained radiologists and surgeons in the technique. In 1997, she published results of the first 100 stereotactic core breast biopsies done in Delaware. Dr. Dickson-Witmer also introduced sentinel node biopsy to the Delaware valley in 1999 and published the results of a pilot study of the first 50 cases done at ChristianaCare.
She has been featured in numerous medical publications, given hundreds of presentations, and served on three medical missions, one in Africa and two in Central America. Previously, Dr. Dickson-Witmer was the Medical Director of the ChristianaCare Breast Center at the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center.

Dr. Dickson-Witmer graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine. She also served a residency there, as well as at the Medical Center of Delaware, where she was chief surgical resident in 1982.

Christopher Raia has been named DuPont’s senior vice president and chief human resources officer.
Raia has been serving as interim chief human resources officer and brings over 25 years of experience to the position. Prior to DuPont, Raia served as senior vice president talent and organization effectiveness at Newell Brands and at Citizens Bank. Earlier, he founded and managed an HR consulting firm specializing in organization design, change management, and leadership development.

David Morse has been honored by Shore United Bank for thirty years of service. Morse began his career with the bank in 1991 as assistant vice president of their Easton, Md. branch. Currently, Morse is an executive vice president and legal counsel for the bank and secretary and general counsel of Shore Bancshares, Inc. David provides legal counsel and advice about regulations, contracts and a wide range of legal matters that support the goals of the bank.

Frederick “Fritz” Jones has been appointed interim executive director of Catholic Charities Inc. of the Diocese of Wilmington. Jones has been a leader in Catholic Charities for 43 years, most recently as director of program operations.
During his tenure, Jones has reorganized the Behavioral Health Program resulting in increased productivity, integration of the residential maternity home into a Catholic Charities program adding services to new mothers, and reinstatement of the Substance Abuse Counseling Licensure Program.
Jones has served the community in many ways including as a member of the Counsel of United Way Executives Designee for Catholic Charities, the Wilmington Planning Commission, and the City of Wilmington Economic Development Committee. Other community groups include the Clarence Fraim Boys and Girls Club, Rockwood Museum, and as an Adjunct Instructor at Delaware Technical and Community College.
TaKeshia Dozier has joined SUN Delaware’s leadership team as chief financial officer and chief operating officer. Dozier trained to be an accountant and worked in a variety of human services programs. In 2004, she found her niche in behavioral health, with a particular interest in the admissions process and related accounting practices.
Dozier joined SUN Delaware because she has seen firsthand how freestanding behavioral health hospitals improve the lives of those in the community. She was especially impressed by SUN’s diversity in hiring practices and growth opportunities for people from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Dozier intends to use her experience to refine existing processes at SUN, and support new business growth and long-term solutions to critical needs in our community.
Marnie Oursler will join the Beebe Medical Foundation Board of Directors and serve as a director.
“Marnie brings such a great wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for helping Beebe Healthcare to grow, especially in our South Coastal area,” said Christian Hudson, chair of the foundation’s board. “I am so grateful for her willingness to serve.”
Oursler is president of Marnie Custom Homes in Bethany Beach, an award-winning business that specializes in building sustainable beach homes using locally sourced materials. She built the first LEED-certified home in the state of Delaware as well as one of the first 95% American-made homes in the country.

She was the host of Big Beach Builds that ran for two seasons on The DIY Network. She continues to revolutionize the industry with a fresh approach to established building practices and processes.

The Delaware Small Business Chamber announced two new members of the board of directors and the new 2021 slate of Executive Board members.

Megan Varley, owner of the Surface Restoration Company has been named the 2021 Chair of the Board; Michael Kelly, owner of Enviro-Master of Delaware has been named the Vice-Chair and Casey Fitzgerald with Mercantile Processing Inc. is the Treasurer. Cathy Turner with WSFS is the Ex-Officio.
