DuPont announced that Leland Weaver has been named president of DuPont Water & Protection effective Sept. 1. He will report directly to Ed Breen, DuPont executive chairman and CEO.
Weaver currently serves as vice president of investor relations where he has played a principal role engaging with the investment community on DuPont’s growth strategy and transformation to a multi-industrial company. He joined DuPont in 2003 as an engineer and has held leadership roles with increasing responsibility in manufacturing, sales, marketing, and finance across multiple business units.

Beebe Healthcare announced that Dr. William M. Chasanov II has been promoted to the position of vice president and chief population health officer.
A native of Milford, Chasanov received his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia. He then earned a Master of Business Administration at the University of Delaware, his undergraduate alma mater. He completed his internal medicine residency at ChristianaCare Health System and infectious disease fellowship at Cooper University Hospital.
His training and experience were vital when the global COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020. Chasanov was named Beebe Healthcare’s COVID-19 medical director, a role he continues to hold as the county, country and world continue to battle the virus.

CBRE announced that Rija Beares has been appointed advisory services market leader for Greater Philadelphia, which includes oversight for Philadelphia, Delaware, southern New Jersey, the Lehigh Valley and central Pennsylvania.
In this role, Beares is responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy in Greater Philadelphia and delivering integrated client solutions across the company’s advisory services business, including leasing, sales, valuations, debt and structured finance, and property management.
Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor announced that Richard W. Nenno will be joining the firm as senior counsel in the Business Planning and Tax Section in October. Nenno has over 40 years of estate-planning experience and has served as senior trust counsel and managing director in wealth management at Wilmington Trust Company. Nenno has authored numerous publications on estate-planning issues and is a renowned national speaker.
The Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement has welcomed Pamela Leland to their team. Leland brings extensive experience to DANA, working in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector as a consultant, executive director, teacher, scholar, and volunteer. In her role she will lead DANA’s professional development programs and provide governance and strategic planning consulting to DANA members.
Before joining DANA, Pam served as President and Founder of The Leland Leadership Group, LLC, where she worked with nonprofit organizations on issues of strategy, nonprofit governance, leadership, and the management of change. She took a break from full-time consulting to serve as Executive Director of the Quaker-affiliated Hickman Friends Senior Community in West Chester, PA, leading them through a six-year process of campus repositioning and expansion. She left The Hickman in the Fall of 2019 to return to full-time consulting.

Santora CPA Group has announced the promotions of Melanie Pokorny, Anthony Apostolico andRiley Ballard.
Pokorny has been promoted to Supervisor. She joined the firm in September 2016. Pokorny is a graduate of Philadelphia University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting (2015) and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (2016). She is a member of the AICPA and DSCPA.

Apostolico has been promoted to Senior Accountant. He joined the firm in August 2018 after an internship during the summer of 2017. Apostolico is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance. He is a member of the AICPA and DSCPA, as well as the Delaware Contractors Association’s Young Executive Committee, and the firm’s Social Committee.

Ballard has been promoted to Senior Accountant. She joined the firm in October 2018 after an internship during the summers of 2016 and 2017. Ballard is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting (2017) and a Master’s Degree in Accounting (2018). She is a member of the AICPA and DSCPA.
