Jennifer Roberts has been named the CEO of JPMorgan Chase’s Consumer & Community Banking business.
Roberts brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, excelling in multiple executive roles across Chase, including Digital Products, Chase Pay, Ultimate Rewards and the Sapphire portfolio. She has been the CEO of Business Banking since 2019, helping the business simplify and modernize our small business solutions and enhance our customer experience.
Beebe Healthcare has announced the promotion of Maurice Winkfield as executive director of Oncology Services.
Winkfield joined Beebe Healthcare in 2014 as the director of Patient Access, and later transitioned to the director of Operational Improvement. He has been serving as the interim executive director for Oncology Services since last year, overseeing the Tunnell Cancer Center in Rehoboth Beach and new South Coastal Cancer Center near Millville.
Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP announced the re-election of Kathleen Furey McDonough as Chair. The firm also announced the partners who will serve on the Executive Committee with McDonough through the end of 2023.
The first woman to be elected Chair in Potter Anderson’s 196-year history as well as the first woman to lead a major Delaware law firm, McDonough has chaired the firm since 2018. Her practice focuses on litigation in the federal and state courts in Delaware, with an emphasis on labor and employment, trade secret and commercial litigation. She has been recognized by Chambers USA as a leading Delaware practitioner in labor and employment law each year since 2003.
“I am thrilled to be serving alongside such a talented, hard-working and dedicated team of colleagues,” said McDonough. “The Executive Committee and practice leadership for the new term will build upon our strong track record to help achieve even greater levels of success in the years to come. Peter Rysavy has been promoted to chief information officer of Goldey-Beacom College. In this role, Rysavy will provide leadership and management to the Office of Information Technology, including the planning, administration, security, and coordination of the College’s technology resources. Rysavy, originally from Prague, Czech Republic, began his formal education in the information technology field in his early teens at the National Institute of Information Technology in New Delhi, India, where he enrolled in professional training courses covering a wide variety of technology topics, from database design to server management. The institute quickly noticed his natural talents and hired him as a freelancer to improve their student registration system.
Prior to his current position, Rysavy held various roles at the College including Webmaster, IT Administrator, Assistant Director of IT, and most recently, Director of Information Technology. Projects of note during his tenure at GBC have included the implementation of a state-of-the-art campus card system, the design of next-generation technology infrastructure for the new Franta Residence Hall and the Campus Expansion Project, and the rapid response to the new remote work and remote learning challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Rysavy is a two-time GBC graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Management Information Systems as well as a Master of Business Administration Degree. He lives in Pike Creek, Delaware, with his wife Dr. Monica Rysavy.
Ryan L. Quann has been promoted to registrar. Quann has assumed the lead for the Registrar’s Office including oversight for academic and enrollment records, the master course schedule and degree conferral. He is also responsible for providing data and analysis to College departments concerning academic policy, curricula and academic performance.
Quann served as an academic advisor from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, he was promoted to his most recent position as Financial Aid/Advisement Office Coordinator. He serves on the GBC Strategic Planning Committee and spearheads the College’s participation in the National Clearing House.
M. Davis & Sons has promoted Christina MacMillan to Vice President of Strategic Development.
A long-term manager of M. Davis, Christina started with the accounting department in 1998, holding the title of Controller. In 2016 she took on the role of Business Development Manager, and has since spearheaded Business Development, Sales, and Marketing initiatives for M. Davis, making strides in the company’s digital marketing presence. Christina’s new role as Vice President of Strategic Development will make her the first female non-family member of the M. Davis Executive Committee.

The Bank of Delmarva, recently announced Jennifer Green has joined the bank as assistant vice president – portfolio manager. Green will be working from the bank’s Loan Production Office in Rehoboth Beach. Green comes to the company with nearly 15 years industry experience, including nine years of commercial underwriting. She is a graduate of Wilmington University with a degree in Business Administration.
Whisman Giordano & Associates has announced that Madison Gerdts has earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant. She successfully met all the requirements set by the Delaware State Board of Accountancy.
Gerdts is a Supervisor at Whisman Giordano. Her specialties include work with not-for-profit organizations, healthcare, and low-income housing entities in addition to others. Madison shared, “It’s a big step forward, and I’m excited for my future in such a highly-regarded industry. My CPA designation represents more than college credits and exam scores – it represents my commitment to this profession, rooted in a decade of experience and a life-long passion for service. To me, being an accountant is far more than numbers; it’s truly about helping organizations achieve their missions. Amanda Kelly Thompson has been named director of Political and Legislative Affairs at the Delaware Association of REALTORS (DAR). A native of Delaware, she comes to DAR from the Delaware branch of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI), where she served as director of Advancement. Thompson served as deputy finance director for Sen. Thomas Carper’s 2018 re-election campaign, and before that as a legislative intern with Sen. Carper.
