Andrew (Andy) D. Martire, Ed.D., has been named Tatnall’s 12th Head of School, effective July 1, 2020. Martire will succeed Dr. Timothy M. Burns, who has served as Tatnall’s Interim Head of School since January 2019. Previously, Martire was the headmaster at The Kinkaid School in Texas, a PK-12 school serving 1,465 students, for five years. During his time at Kinkaid, Martire raised $40 million through two capital campaigns, created a schoolwide curriculum committee, and oversaw the construction of numerous campus improvements. Before Kinkaid, Martire served as headmaster at Calvert School in Maryland, where he oversaw significant enrollment growth, increased annual giving by 250%, and completed a $20 million capital campaign
James Ray Rhodes has been appointed the new executive director at the Christina Cultural Arts Center (CCAC), succeeding H. Raye Jones Avery, who served CCAC for more than two decades. Rhodes, a 21-year military veteran, has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and education. Rhodes’ career includes serving as mathematics instructor in the Delaware public school system; chairing the Kingswood Community Center board of directors; and wide-ranging administrative service within county and local government.
Aquiles Iglesias, the founding director of the Communication Sciences and Disorders program in the University of Delaware’s College of Health Sciences and an internationally recognized expert in the assessment of language disorders in bilingual children, has been named the Unidel Katherine L. Esterly Chair in Health Sciences.
Dakota M. Laidman-Murray, P.E., has become a principal owner of Landmark Science & Engineering. Dakota has worked for Landmark for the past seven years. Previously an associate, she assisted with scheduling and resource allocation, mentoring, and training. In addition, she is a project manager, civil/environmental engineer, and serves as head of water resources engineering. Executive Vice President Keith A. Rudy, P.E., will begin transitioning his duties as director of operations to Dakota over the next several months.

Becker Morgan Group Senior Associate Christopher D. Duke, PE, PTOE, LEED, AP, has been named to the Engineering-News Record (ENR) 2020 MidAtlantic Top Young Professionals list. This award recognizes 20 design and construction professionals from across the region under the age of 40 who are leaders in their industry and communities. Duke is a licensed civil engineer and senior associate and manages the firm’s Newark office.
George Meldrum of Wilmington has been awarded AARP Delaware’s 2019 Andrus Award winner. The AARP Andrus Award for Community Service is an annual awards program developed to honor individuals whose service is a unique and valuable contribution to society and AARP’s 188,000 members in the First State. Meldrum has an extensive background in advocacy, administration and health policy development. He serves as the lobbyist for the Nemours Children’s Health System. He also has held leadership roles at the Delaware Council on Gambling, the Department of Services for Children Youth and their Families, and the Delaware Division of Mental Health. Earlier in his career, he was a social worker for Delaware Child Protective Services
Kate Mahoney has become an associate within Potter Anderson’s Corporate Litigation group. Mahoney focuses her practice on corporate and commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery. She received her law degree from Drexel University in 2016 and previously worked at Gordon, Fournaris & Mammarella.
Margaret (Molly) DiBianca has joined Clark Hill’s Labor & Employment Practice in its Wilmington office. DiBianca provides litigation and client counseling to employers in a variety of industries in employment-rights claims, discrimination matters, equal employment disputes and restrictive covenant matters. In addition, she regularly advises clients on noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements and enforces and defends those agreements in the Court of Chancery.
