Lisa R. Hatfield has joined Connolly Gallagher as Of Counsel in its Government Law, Arbitration and Mediation, and General Litigation groups. Her practice will include alternative dispute resolution, litigation and bankruptcy. Prior to joining the firm, Lisa was the managing attorney for Stern & Eisenberg’s Delaware office, served as a state’s attorney representing the State of Maryland, and acted as an adjunct professor at Wilmington University. Lisa is an American Arbitration Association trained mediator and, for the past twelve years, Lisa has served as the Alderman for the City of Newark Alderman’s Court. Lisa earned her J.D. (1997) from The University of Tennessee College of Law; and B.A. from the University of Delaware (1991).

Stephanie Smiertka Riley has joined Connolly Gallagher as an associate in its commercial and intellectual property litigation practice. Her complex commercial litigation experience extends to both plaintiffs and defendants in business disputes, consumer protection claims, and pharmaceutical and medical device multi-district litigations. Riley is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, American Bar Association
and Rodney Inn of Court. She graduated from The George Washington University School of Law.


Nyemade Boiwu has been named executive director of Every Man Counts, which was founded by Ajawavi Ajavon to support single and re-entry fathers in the community. Nyemade has also joined the 2020 board for Empower & Educate as its new program director. Empower and Educate is a non-profit run by founder Chelsey Henderson that provides activities and programs for youth in Delaware.


Brian Bentivoglio has passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination and is the newest Certified Public Accountant at Wheeler Wolfenden and Dwares, CPAs in Pike Creek.

Bentivoglio joined the staff of WW&D in 2019. He is a graduate of Widener University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration specializing in accounting. Bentivoglio focuses his
work in auditing and tax services.


Mani Rodriguez, CPA has been promoted to Senior Accountant at Wheeler Wolfenden and Dwares CPAs in Pike Creek. Rodriguez joined the WW&D staff in 2017. He is a graduate of Rowan University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Rodriguez received his CPA in May 2019.
