Jeff Gosnear, president of Grotto Pizza, announced that Mike Mozer and Daphne Morrison had been promoted to general manager positions. “Mike and Daphne have worked at several of our locations, and they know our culture and mission,” Gosnear said. “They are both excellent leaders with bright futures.”

Mozer started working at the Grotto Pizza on Rehoboth Avenue in May 2010—the day after high school graduation. He later interned in the marketing department and became a general manager when the Dewey Beach restaurant opened.

“I have met so many awesome, hardworking people over the years and made lifelong friendships,” Mozer said.

Morrison lived on Maui before moving to Virginia in middle school with her family. “I moved to Delaware after college because I had to be near the ocean,” she said. Not surprisingly, Hawaiian is her favorite pizza flavor.
