Harvey, Hanna & Associates, Inc. (HHA) announce John C. Fannin III, CPP, LEEDAP has been appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO). Michael B. Kinnard has been promoted to chief legal officer and Thomas Harvey IV to vice president, Portfolio Management.
Fannin joins Harvey, Hanna & Associates after leading a distinguished career as a government official, corporate executive, successful entrepreneur, proactive business partner, and a consultant to many international organizations. Fannin’s leadership at HHA encompasses oversight and accountability of all aspects of company operations including, but not limited to, portfolio and property management, construction planning and management, marketing, customer relations, and related subsidiaries including Big Box Buildings LLC.
Previously, Fannin served in an array of executive leadership positions with a variety of organizations including SafePlace Corporation (CEO), Telgian Holdings, Inc. (Corporate Officer) and KCI Technologies, Inc. (Corporate Officer), State of Delaware (Delaware State Fire Commissioner) and the United States Government (FEMA).
Kinnard’s appointment expands his distinguished contributions to HHA with legal, regulatory, and risk-management decisions encompassing the company’s industrial, commercial, mixed-use, and resort/hospitality segments. Kinnard has been with HHA since 2016.
Harvey IV’s appointment will maintain leasing responsibilities and provide a holistic managerial focal point for company acquisitions and divestitures, in addition to leasing and marketing. Harvey has been with HHA since 2015.

The Chemours Company name Joseph Martinko president, Thermal & Specialized Solutions (TSS).
“Joe has been a principal architect of the entire Opteon™ solutions portfolio and brings unmatched knowledge of our thermal management products, market, and customers to this role. In addition, having led the commercialization and market transition to low-GWP Opteon™ products for the mobile and stationary refrigeration and foam expansion markets, he knows what it takes to innovate in the space as we look for more sustainable solutions,” Mark Newman, Chemours president and chief executive officer, said. “With Joe’s deep commercial and regulatory experience and his proven track record, I have no doubt that the TSS team will continue to deliver strong financial performance and business growth under his leadership.”
Martinko brings to the role over 30 years of expertise in the chemical industry, with more than 20 years of experience across TSS and Chemours’ legacy fluoroproducts business in a range of global market, product, and regional leadership roles. Before he was appointed to lead TSS, he served as the Sr. Business Director, Americas, a role in which he drove business strategy, delivered record-breaking financial performance, and built a high-performing team. Prior to that, Martinko has held various roles in the fluoroproducts business with responsibility for regulatory and advocacy, customer service, marketing, sales, technical service, asset strategy and product management. Before Chemours, Martinko worked for over 20 years with DuPont in various business leadership and manufacturing roles.
YMCA of Delaware name Tom Myers chief development officer. Myers comes to the Y with 20 years of experience in youth development, education, community engagement, and philanthropy, and has a proven track record of helping the Y expand its reach and increase impact.
Most recently, Myers served as senior executive director at the YMCA of Greater Boston, supporting the Oak Square, East Boston, and Charlestown communities. He is committed to taking an active role in community leadership and volunteerism and has served on multiple boards focused on youth development, healthy living, and community development. In 2020 the Boston Police Department awarded him with a Community Service Award for his leadership during the pandemic.
In his new role, Myers will lead the YMCA of Delaware’s Development team to spearhead mission advancement, corporate partnership, and organizational fundraising initiatives to expand the reach and transformative impact of the Y.

Beebe Healthcare name Kevin Ussery executive director of Human Resources.
Ussery oversees day-to-day operations of Beebe’s employment-based programs, which collectively support the more than 3,100 associates who work for the healthcare system. His key areas of operational focus include compensation, benefits, leave of absence policies, worker’s compensation, management of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee health, and volunteer services.
Ussery stresses that human resources will play a key role as Beebe continues to expand its clinical service offerings, programs, and community outreach efforts.
“As we look forward, it is important that we build staffing structures to match Beebe’s intended growth,” Ashley Foster, chief people officer, Beebe Healthcare, said. “The healthcare system’s strategic plan will inform human resources practices and decisions. At the same time, Kevin will help lead the deployment of modern human resources processes so that they focus intently on creating and sustaining positive associate experiences. It’s an exciting time to be part of Beebe.”
Prior to joining Beebe, Ussery served as a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner at Atrium Health, where his work supported more than 5,000 associates at four acute care facilities with a collective total of 534 beds plus an emergency medical services group. Much of his work at Atrium centered around the development of strategies to drive innovative and practical workforce solutions, based out of the organization’s Human Resources Center of Excellence.
Ussery earned a Master of Science in Organization Development at Queens University of Charlotte and is also a graduate of Erskine College, where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He is certified by the Society of Human Resource Management.
Bayhealth add Krishnaraj Mahendraraj, MD, to its surgical team. Dr. Mahendraraj joins Surgeons Edward Alexander, MD; Theodoros Katsichtis, MD; Bradford Mitchell, MD; and Assar Rather, MD; and Nurse Practitioners Carol Dye, NP-C, and Adrianne Fisher, FNP-BC, in the Bayhealth General Surgery, Dover practice.
Dr. Mahendraraj is accepting new patients. He also will serve as the associate program director for Bayhealth’s General Surgery Residency program which is training medical school graduates to become surgeons in our local area.
“Dr. Mahendraraj is a gifted surgeon who performs complex surgical treatments and robotic surgeries to treat pancreatic cancer, liver tumors and other diseases in what are generally considered harder to treat locations in the body,” Bayhealth Vice President, Physician Services and Clinical Integration Lawrence Ward, MD, MPH, FACP, said “He will help us meet the growing surgical needs of our community members with his expertise, excellent bedside manner, and commitment to personalized, patient-centered care.”
After earning his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Mahendraraj completed a general surgery residency at Lincoln Medical Center, Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, New York. He was a fellow in hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery, a subspecialty focused on liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile duct treatments, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. There he also earned da Vinci certification for robotic abdominal surgery and completed a dual certification in kidney and HPB surgery as well as abdominal transplant surgery.
Prior to joining Bayhealth, Dr. Mahendraraj was employed as a surgeon and surgical clinical instructor for abdominal transplant and robotic surgery at the Miami Transplant Institute at University of Miami in Florida.
Worth & Company announce Justin Krall has joined the firm as its chief operating officer. Krall, originally from Harrisburg, Pa., joins Worth & Company after serving as chief operating officer and vice president of a mid-sized regional mechanical contracting firm.
Passionate about plumbing and HVAC, Krall began his career as an apprentice in 1994. He then worked as a foreman, general foreman and more advanced roles with progressive levels of responsibility. In his most recent position, before coming to Worth & Co., Krall formed a new division for his employer that generated $16 million in revenue. In 2022 the division he started surpassed $85 million in revenue. Most recently, Krall served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer, where he led efforts to build the firm’s company-wide operating platform.

Literacy Delaware announce the addition of new Board Member Jacqueline Ortiz, M.Phil.
As vice president of health equity, Ortiz is responsible for leading the system’s healthcare equity initiatives to identify, understand, measure, and reduce disparities in health and health care affecting the community served by ChristianaCare. Jacqueline joined ChristianaCare in February 2012 with over fifteen years of experience researching, teaching, and working in cultural competence, health equity, social networks, and economic sociology.
Prior to joining ChristianaCare, she led a firm specializing in the application of social network analysis to resolve organizational challenges, working in Latin America and the United States, in both public and private sectors. Jacqueline has consulted for Fortune 500 companies, the government of Argentina and multi‐lateral organizations like the World Bank and Transparency International.
Jacqueline obtained a B.A. in Sociology from Occidental College, an M.A. in Sociology from Boston College, and is currently a doctoral candidate at Yale University.
