Bayhealth Medical Group named Eileen Giaimo senior director of physician services and Dorothy Boresky, DNP, MBA, RN, NE-BC, was named program director of professional excellence.
Giaimo oversees the primary and specialty practices that include endocrinology, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, palliative care, psychiatry and mental health services, women’s care and maternal-fetal medicine.
Giaimo began her career as an audiologist, serving on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, and moved to hospital administration in the early 1990s. She spent years growing and honing her skills in all aspects of medical practice management, including budget and revenue cycle oversight, staff development, spearheading performance improvement initiatives, and maximizing use of electronic medical records and data analysis to exceed quality metrics.
Before joining Bayhealth, Giaimo served as the regional director for ProHealth Physicians, part of OPTUM health system in Farmington, Connecticut where she managed a team of hundreds across 18 primary care practices. Previously she worked for the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center as a practice administrator for the Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology and a multi-specialty clinic, and at Yale School of Medicine as a practice administrator for the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science.
“From the start I could see that Bayhealth and its staff are very invested in doing what’s best for the community,” Giaimo said. “The operational aspects of healthcare, as well as coaching and mentoring staff, have always been near and dear to my heart. I’m excited to work with talented leaders, clinicians, and staff to build on the progress of the Bayhealth Medical Group and expand access to the high-quality care we offer to improve the health of our community members.”
Giaimo is no stranger to Delaware—she’s been a frequent vacationer to Bethany Beach since she was five years old. She and her husband are looking forward to being full-time Sussex County residents. In her spare time, Giaimo loves cooking and baking breads as well as knitting and crocheting.
Before her appointment at Bayhealth, Boresky held various healthcare leadership roles over her more than three-decade career.
“It’s been so rewarding — working with Rosi Wurster, clinical nurses, and nursing leaders to develop a patient care services strategic plan supporting organizational initiatives and the wellbeing of our community,” Boresky said. “I’m proud to be part of a nursing team whose members are so committed to each other and our patients to improve outcomes.”
Boresky received her Bachelor of Science in nursing at New York University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Drexel University. She is a member of the Delaware Organization of Nurse Leaders, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the American Nurses Association (and is a mentor for the association). She is also a supporter of the American Heart Association, Go Red for Women, American Nursing Foundation, and UNICEF.
In her time away from work, she enjoys spending time with husband, children, and grandchildren. She also enjoys gardening, cooking, crocheting, shopping, and travel.
The Delaware Restaurant Association (DRA) announced the addition of Meghan Gardner as director of the Delaware Restaurant Foundation (DRF), the philanthropic arm of the DRA.

Gardner brings over 30 years of experience and dedication to Delaware’s hospitality industry, the previous co-owner of the iconic Blue Moon restaurant in Rehoboth Beach and most recently served as the Director of Resource Development with Children’s Beach House in Lewes. Gardner has served as an industry mentor to local ProStart® students in statewide and national culinary and management competitions, and was the founding Chairperson of the Board for the Delaware Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. She brings a depth of industry experience and leadership to the team of the DRF and DRA, and seeks to advance the mission by supporting career pathways for individuals of varying backgrounds and abilities.

Crowther is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Group. His extensive litigation experience transcends many substantive areas of commercial and civil litigation including employment and enforcement of restrictive covenants, Delaware corporate law, ERISA-governed benefits, trusts & estates, construction, consumer law and warranties, commercial/business contract disputes, commercial collections, real estate, and other general commercial and business litigation. He also has substantial experience in bankruptcy-related litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Crowther is resident in the firm’s Wilmington office.
The Ability Network of Delaware (A.N.D.), a disability service provider, announced the appointment of Shavonne Brathwaite, Ed.D, as its new Board president.
Brathwaite is also the state operations director for nonprofit Mosaic in Delaware, part of a whole-person healthcare network that serves people with diverse needs in more than 700 communities across 13 states. During her eight-year tenure with Mosaic, she’s also been involved with A.N.D. by serving on its Board of Directors as the chair of its Developmental Disabilities (DD) Committee.
A.N.D.’s former Board President Verna Hensley said, “We purposefully sought after Shavonne for the Board President role. She has strong leadership skills, thoroughly understands the service industry and the ongoing challenges it faces, such as ensuring people with disabilities have full access to the best care possible and how to attract and retain critical, direct support workers.”
“Shavonne is also very familiar with and has been a part of what the Ability Network of Delaware and our members have accomplished, including pushing for the landmark passage of the McNesby Full Funding for Adults with ID/D Act, which was the first of its kind in the U.S.,” Thomas Cook, A.N.D. OFFICER Executive Director said. “She helped us advocate for that legislation into law by mobilizing ‘Mosaic Allied Voices’ volunteers to support it.”
