Fast-casual Chinese restaurant chain Panda Express is opening of a new location in Wilmington on July 27.
“We are delighted to have the privilege of serving our American Chinese comfort food to the residents of Wilmington,” said Jay Pola, area coach of operations for Panda Express. “Our new associates are excited to help the restaurant expand its East Coast presence and begin serving this wonderful community for years to come.”
Proceeds from the grand opening celebration will go to the Western Family YMCA, which provides wellness programs for families in the Wilmington area.
The restaurant will create 35 jobs for nearby residents. Panda Express touts its self-development programs and focus on professional growth. The new restaurant’s address is 4704 Kirkwood Highway.
