(BUSINESS WIRE) – CSC has been awarded a 2017 Top Workplaces honor by The News Journal. This marks the 11th consecutive year CSC has been selected as a Top Workplace, which is based solely on the results of employee feedback. The annual survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement.
CSC, which opened its new global headquarters (seen here) in late June, has been named a Top Workplace for the 11th consecutive year.
“One of our primary goals at CSC is to create an environment where our people are better off tomorrow than they are today,” says Tamika Sainten, global human resources director. “Being named a Top Workplace in Delaware, which we’ve called home for more than 100 years, is a great honor. When we revealed our new brand and logo in May, part of the thinking behind our distinctive new look was to reflect the interconnected, evolving relationship we have with our clients as well as our employees. This award is a testament to that connection, and along with our new global headquarters, goes a long way toward attracting, retaining, and developing top talent at CSC.”
Several aspects of workplace culture were measured, including leadership, job satisfaction, benefits, and pay. Typically, Top Workplaces are not only better places to work but are more likely to be successful than peer organizations.
“To be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organizational health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day—the employees,” says Doug Claffey, CEO of WorkplaceDynamics. “Time and time again, our research has proven that what’s most important to them is a strong belief in where the organization is headed, how it’s going to get there, and the feeling that everyone is in it together.”
Headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware since 1899, CSC has employment opportunities in more than 50 office locations in 17 countries around the world, including positions in information technology, sales, customer service, account management, marketing, and management.
